To actually become someone else, it might be quite helpful to practice being someone else already. Welcome outside your comfort zone! The Ecstatic Carnival is a threshold space on Mardi Gras Saturday, a ritual festival, a crazy masquerade ball, a deep process of personal development, an immersive performance, a shared space for transformation, a dance-filled party, a tantric meeting space, an “all-things-helpful-for-our-further-development”.
A cultivation of un-uniqueness and un-predictability.
And the main role in this is played by YOU.

Transformation rituals are as old as mankind. Dances, chants, masks, body painting, body modifications, trance and ecstasy are archaic and contemporary at the same time. The vision of Ecstatic Carneval is: to give back to “carnival”, which is rather superficial in our culture, the depth and transformative power it carries in its roots.
The whole process is a ritual in 3 parts over the duration of 5 weeks:
1 / Immersion: Finding Intention & Role
2 / The Ecstatic Carnival Day
3 / Emergence: integrating the essence of the role into everyday life.
Ecstatic Carnival is a ritual practice to awaken unlived potential within oneself. So far dormant sides would like to be filled with life, or rejected shadow parts to be asked before the curtain. Let yourself be seduced to discover who you can be, or are in parallel – outside your previous boundaries & ideas. In a group of researchers, enter a shared threshold space between art and everyday life: a liminal possibility space where the only certainty is ambiguity.
